1. Altimeter: An instrument used for measuring altitudes in aircraft.

2. Ammeter: An instrument for measuring electric currents in amperes.

3. Anemometer: An instrument for measuring the force and velocity of wind.

4. Audiometer:An instrument for measuring the intensity of sound.

5. Audiophone: An instrument for improving imperfect sense of hearing.

6. Barometer: An apparatus used for measuring the atmospheric pressure.
